Sophia Le Fraga is the author of literallydead (Spork Press, 2015), I RL, YOU RL (minutesBOOKS, 2013; Troll Thread, 2014), I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE INTERNET (Keep This Bag Away From Children, 2012), as well as the co-author, with Lanny Jordan Jackson, of the artist book </V> (or worse press, 2015). Her work in poetry spans several media, from gold-painted erasures and subtitle collages to iMessage and Gchat video poems, as in “W8ING 4” and “TH3 B4LD 50PR4NO” (Gauss PDF, 2014), which have been featured on Jacket2Dazed & ConfusedMOTHERBOARD, and Yahoo! Tech

In 2014, Le Fraga was a poet-in-residence at LUMA/Westbau’s “Poetry Will Be Made by All!” exhibit—coorganized by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Simon Castets, and Kenneth Goldsmith—as part of the 89+ initiative. Her work has been performed and exhibited widely across the United States and Europe. Some notable fairs include Miami Project, Paris Photo (Paris) and Vorspiel Transmediale (Berlin). She had a solo show in 2012 at Broken Dimanche in Berlin.

Le Fraga earned a BA in linguistics from NYU. She is the poetry editor of Imperial Matters and poetry faculty at BHQFU, an experimental arts university in the East Village.
