not quite. shoemaker-hoard, counterpoint, and soft skull were *all three* acquired by charles winton, and being combined/reorganized into a new LLC known as winton-shoemaker, etc. etc.

minor point, the gist is the same i suppose.

Got it. I mistakenly thought "Winton Shoemaker" from your blog post was a person, not an entity. I'll go fix the post AND add a link to Richard Eoin Nash's post on Soft Skull.
