Thanks to Marie-Elizabeth Mundheim and Molly Sutton Kiefer (http://www.mollysuttonkiefer.com/) for contributing their Indestructible Eyes!

Kudos, too, to Miles Coon, Susan Williamson, and Laura McDermott who organized the week and made sure the festival was an exceptional experience for both faculty and participants.

Please visit their website: http://www.palmbeachpoetryfestival.org/

This year's faculty included Kim Addonizio, Claudia Emerson, Major Jackson, Thomas Lux, Campbell McGrath, Malena Mörling, Sharon Olds, and C.K. Williams. Florida poets Lola Haskins and Spencer Reece gave memorable readings. Roger Bonair-Agard and Marty McConnell rock the stage during the late-night of the festival and brought the house down.

A record-breaking 96 poets enrolled as festival participants.

Mmhmm. Nothing like roughing it for the sake of poetry.

Hi Major:

Because this is a Palm Beach, FL post, please allow me to say, here, that three fine, award-winning poets will be reading their poems in Palm Beach, FL on February 23 in the King Library of the Society of the Four Arts to launch a two-year six city tour:

Eduardo C. Corral
Kevin A. González
Sheryl Luna

inaugurate "The Wind Shifts: New Latino Poetry ON TOUR"
(more info here in events column)

Special thanks to Richard Blanco for suggesting this FL venue

Oh goodness! I didn't know you were going to use non-featured poet pictures as well. :) Looks great! We had a wonderful time.
