You Gauss-ed It

Poet J. Gordon Faylor has launched Gauss PDF, a website which publishes “digitally based works” in pdf format. Taking the possibilities offered by print-on-demand technology one step further, pdf “printing” allows work to be freely distributed and shared online, instantaneously. Furthermore, the implications of such a project are great: what does a book look like, proper to pdf format? Potentially changing the way we think of formatting even more radically than e-readers, pdf books can switch up page-size and layout page by page, and easily incorporate images. So far the site features new works by hot young writers Lanny Jordan Jackson, Lola Galla, Josef Kaplan & Aaron Araki, Astrid Lorange, and Kieran Daly.
