The Woodberry Poetry Room hits the internet

Harvard's Woodberry Poetry Room, home to a huge collection of English-language poetry materials, just launched a nifty new website!

The Listening Booth highlights recorded readings from WPR's vast archive. John Ashbery, Mary Jo Bang, E.E. Cummings, Denise Levertov, Ted Berrigan, Wallace Stevens - they're all in there. (Don't miss the extra-scratchy 1935 recording of Edna St. Vincent Millay, which dates back to the earliest years of WPR.)

The Vocarium features the work of emerging poets, along with oral histories, recording sessions, and podcasts.

Grab your headphones and check it out.
