Green Lantern's Sector 2337 to Open in October
Chicago rejoices! New City reports that Green Lantern Press will be opening a new gallery and bookstore in the heart of Logan Square this October. The deets are these:
The space will host three exhibitions a year supplemented by a series of public programs. In addition, the Press’ online bookstore will be represented in the space with books specializing in contemporary art, poetry, theory and independent press titles. In their press release, Green Lantern Gallery & Press founder Caroline Picard and New Corpse co-director Devin King said, “By marrying these threads—contemporary exhibitions, readings, performances, poetry, and printed matter—we continue the spirit of The Green Lantern Gallery and Press, making community, culture, and discourse easily accessible to Chicago.”
We look forward to great books, readings, and performances in the new space. Head to New City to read more about Sector 2337 and their upcoming exhibitions.
