Amaranth Borsuk & Andy Fitch in Video Form
Not sure if you've seen POETRYSEEN yet, but if you like visual recordings of poets, you're M-F-E-O, for POETRYSEEN features short videos of poetry readings and poem films, and is open to art submissions and various works in print that may be reanimated in video form. We're particularly enthused by this rendering called "April 30th" of real wonders Amaranth Borsuk and Andy Fitch.
Amaranth Borsuk and Andy Fitch look for ways to make the tensions of redaction on the page apparent to an audience. The pair take turns performing lines signifying moments of rupture in the text. The method also acts out the tension between the poets with Amaranth erasing parts of Andy's. The page performed originally appeared in Dusie. The video made with her collaborator, Andy Fitch, is of the first entry of their new book As We Know (Subito, November 2014).
