New to the Archive

We’re shoring up a whole bunch of goodness this week as we dip into the online archive to see what’s new. First up, we have two from the tome—from Ron Silliman’s The Alphabet, parts I and XII of the long poem, “You.” This taste is maybe 1/1000 of the entire book, but it’s a good taste nevertheless.

Moving on, we’d like to show some love by way of Julian Talamantez Brolaski’s new book Advice for Lovers. If you’ve ever wondered “What to Say Upon Being Asked to Be Friends,” look no further, Julian shall provide! Or for the morning lover in you, we offer this “Nobaude.”

Keeping with the love theme, we also have a few from Ariana Reines, including sections from Mercury and Coeur De Lion. You can get right to the heart of matter here. Or for the extended treatment, this one here.

Finally, we round out our update from the archive with a few prose poems by Aaron Shurin from his latest book Citizen.

Read and enjoy!
