Daniel Mark Epstein
Daniel Mark Epstein is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry, biography, and history, including the poetry collections The Glass House (2009), The Traveler's Calendar (2002), and The Boy In The Well and Other Poems (1995).
His awards include the Rome Prize, fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation, and an Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Epstein wrote the libretto for Jefferson and Poe, with composer Damon Ferrante.
