“I VOMIT I VOMIT FOR YOU EMILY”

After listening to this NPR interview with Terry Gross and former poet laureate Billy Collins discussing Emily Dickinson’s sexual preferences, CA Conrad over at Philly Sound felt a wee bit nauseated. Was it Collins’ poem, “Taking Off Emily Dickinson's Clothes,” inspired by his lascivious thoughts about her possible Sapphic dalliances, that caused Conrad to spew?
