An unusually intense New York City thunderstorm erupted at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010, and ended thirty minutes later. All over the city trees came down. Here the storm's chaotic rise and sudden fall are narrated—collaboratively, spontaneously—via Facebook.
