All experience levels are welcome to a discussion and creative writing workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to read and discuss work by writers such as Sandra Cisneros, Elise Cowen, Kimiko Hahn, Laura Hershey, Raymond Luczak, Vassar Miller, Wislawa Szymborska, and David Trinidad. Through creative writing exercises, we will write toward the ordinary and extraordinary moments of our daily lives, turning attention to the ways in which our memories and stories can unfold in surprising ways. In a relaxed group setting, writers will be invited to share their work and comment on the process of creating poetry. Participants may attend one session or multiple sessions during the series.

Hosted and led by Matt Bodett, writer and poet, 3 Arts and Bodies of Work artist and Amy Lipman, writer and poet, the Poetry Foundation.

At Access Living, 115 West Chicago Avenue.
