Join us for a film screening of The Fitting Room.

While technology allows us to join a wider community, the connections made are often superficial. Poetry reinvents our daily realities, while reconnecting us to our most inner selves, providing a deeper reach into honesty, emotion, expression and experience. The Fitting Room is a documentary that brings poetry to life revealing the rich interior worlds in each of us.

With Chicago as a setting for poets and poetry, this film presents the lives of five Chicago poets. Introducing 13-year-old Little Village slam poet Camila Ruiz, and featuring Reginald Gibbons, Angela Jackson, Nate Marshall and Simone Muench.
