Commemorate 100 years since the World War I Armistice with a first-look screening of Three World War I Poems, created in partnership by the Poetry Foundation and Manual Cinema. This animated short brings three war poems to life with innovative puppetry and animation work, each vignette sharing a different experience of “the war to end all wars” from a soldier’s point of view: John McCrae’s “In Flanders Fields,” Edward Thomas’s “The Owl,” and Wilfred Owen’s “Dulce et Decorum Est.

Following the screening of Three World War I Poems, guests are welcome to have a first-hand look at the historically accurate puppets and set pieces created by Manual Cinema.

Doors open at 7:00 PM; program begins at 7:30 PM sharp.
