Hands on Stanzas

Join the Chicago Poetry Center to celebrate a year of student poetry. The event, in which participants from elementary and middle school grades read original poems on stage, features teachers and students from each poet-in-residence classroom. The CPC's Hands on Stanzas program places Chicago poets/teaching artists in Chicago public school classrooms to spend a full year reading, writing, discussing, and performing poetry with students.
