Celebrate with us as the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame presents the Fuller Award for lifetime achievement to Sterling Plumpp. He has been dedicated to poetry, advocacy, and social justice throughout his career; his honors include an American Book Award and a Carl Sandburg Literary Award for Poetry from the Friends of the Chicago Public Library. Plumpp will be celebrated by special guests that include Tyehimba Jess, Ronne Hartfield, Duriel E. Harris, Abdul Alkalimat, Haki Madhubuti, and Reginald Gibbons. There will be an ASL interpreter at this event.
