Join us for a reading with Reginald Dwayne Betts, poet, essayist, and national spokesperson for the Campaign for Youth Justice who writes and lectures about the impact of mass incarceration on American society. Betts is the author of the memoir A Question of Freedom and several poetry collections, including a new volume, Felon. He was awarded an NAACP Image Award for A Question of Freedom and a Soros Justice Fellowship to complete The Circumference of a Prison. Tara Betts will lead a discussion with the poet after the reading.
