Join us for a pop-up poetry reading with Kristy Bowen at the Field Museum. Bowen is the author of several projects, including major characters in minor films and girl show. She lives in Chicago, where she runs dancing girl press & studio.

Poets in the Field welcomes an engaging set of poets with distinct voices to the Museum to share their work and creatively connect visitors to nature and culture. Listen as each poet reads their poems in the exhibitions. Then, stay for a Q&A with the poet. No prior experience with poetry necessary. This event is hosted by the Field’s poet-in-residence. Locations inside the Field Museum vary for each event; please convene by the elephants in Stanley Field Hall.

This program is presented in partnership with the Field Museum
