Join us for an evening of poetry with Robert Hass, a former US poet laureate and chancellor of the Academy of American Poets. Hass’s collections include Field Guide, Praise, Human Wishes, Sun Under Wood, and The Apple Trees at Olema: New and Selected Poems. His collection Time and Materials won both a National Book Award and a Pulitzer Prize. His other honors include a MacArthur Fellowship, two National Book Critics’ Circle Awards, a Wallace Stevens Award, and a Yale Younger Poets prize. Hass was chosen as Educator of the Year by the North American Association for Environmental Education in 2005; he is a professor of English at UC Berkeley.
