All are welcome to a poetry discussion and creative writing workshop, “Project Poetry,” created and led by Cindy Juyoung Ok.
In this session, we will focus on poets who work in “projects,” creating new forms from working within developed constraints. We will explore the connection between content and form by using recent examples of experiments and projects in poetry collections and building through and beyond them.
Cindy Juyoung Ok (she/they) teaches creative writing, edits for Guernica, and has poems now or soon in Bennington Review, Colorado Review, and The Yale Review. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop where she received Capote, Rydson, and Rosenberg Fellowships, Cindy has also been supported by Banff Centre, Bread Loaf, and Vermont Studio Center.
Registration is required; space is limited. To register, email [email protected] with the date and time of the session you would like to attend. This program is for adult participants, aged 18 and up.
