Forms & Features Online: Ghazal

All are welcome to an online poetry discussion and creative writing workshop led by Maggie Queeney. In this session, we explore ghazals, intricate lyrics that Agha Shahid Ali described as “ravishing disunities.” The group will explore a wide variety of poems and conclude with a guided creative writing workshop, where participants will compose an original ghazal. 

Please note: we are offering several sessions of this program. Registration is required; space is limited. To register, email [email protected] with the date and time of the session you would like to attend. This program is for adult participants, aged 18 and older.

Closed captioning is available via Google Meet. We are happy to provide ASL interpretation.
