Forms & Features: Prose Poetry

This generative poetry workshop led by Maggie Queeney explores the prose poem within the framework of Yasmine Ameli’s “More Than a Failed Essay: On the Prose Poem,” the latest installation in the Poetry magazine’s “Not Too Hard to Master” series. 

The group will read and discuss a variety of texts and conclude with a guided poetry-writing exercise. 

• This workshop is for adult participants, aged 18 and older, of all backgrounds and experiences with reading and writing poetry. 
• We offer several sessions.
