In-Person Forms & Features at the Poetry Foundation: Tone

This generative poetry workshop led by Maggie Queeney will explore the role of tone in shaping the speaker and subject in a poem. Guided by the fluctuating moods in More Light!, the Poetry Foundation’s current exhibition featuring Luftwerk’s immersive interpretation of Aram Saroyan’s poem “lighght,”we will experiment with color and sound as we compose original poems. 

• This workshop is for adult participants, aged 18 and older, of all backgrounds and experiences with reading and writing poetry.
