Special Projects and Opportunities

Throughout the year, the Poetry Foundation may support special events, unique partnerships, and other opportunities that align with its mission. Inquiries for special opportunities grants are accepted from January through September, and applications are by invitation only.

Special Opportunities Grants are restricted to the following activities and organizations:

• Poetry fellowships, residencies, or laureateships
• National poetry and literary events
• Midwest-based poetry events
• Poetry organizations celebrating a significant anniversary
• Membership organizations to which the Poetry Foundation belongs
