This week's best sellers
The Wind Blows Through the Doors of My Heart, a posthumous collection from poet Deborah Digges, makes its debut on the best seller list this week at number 5. Digges, a professor at Tufts University, committed suicide last year at the age of 59 and was the author of four previous collections of work. Random House, the book’s publisher, calls The Wind Blows Through the Doors of My Heart, “the final work from one of our finest poets.”
Also debuting on the contemporary best seller list this week is Samuel Amadon’s Like a Sea, which appears at number 21, and Greg Hewett’s darkacre, which arrives at number 14. darkacre, Hewett's fourth collection, explores the landscapes of human history (Italian, Minnesotan) as well as the contours of the human body (male, female) in what one Amazon reader called a "critical and sensual" style.
