It's a nice extension of Lin's idiosyncratic poetics of the ambient, which is in no way reducible to the idea of a background. Check out the issue here - flipping through authors' peripheral texts can be more fun than reading poetry. The only downside, in terms of the magazine design, is that contributions over one page long each need to be downloaded as individual PDFs, which severely limits the leisurely, ambient browsing of the material. WTF, EOAGH?
