Consorting with Angels: on Anne Sexton

The Third Coast International Audio Festival recently aired an audio documentary about Anne Sexton, which covers her life, her poetry, her therapist, and her fraught relationship with her family.

The story— produced by Charlotte Austin of Whistledown Productions— draws on transcripts of Sexton's conversations with her long-time therapist (which were controversially released following her death in 1974), along with interviews with Sexton's daughters.
