New to the Archive
You may not know this but you're sitting on a treasure trove of poetry! Yes, so much so that sometimes it feels like you need a map to navigate all the goodness. So going forward, Harriet will be occasionally tipping off our readers to some of the fabulous new additions to our online archive.
For starters, we've recently added an ample selection of poetry by Paul Blackburn, spanning his career from his classic "Brooklyn Narcissus" to his later journal poems. Also of note is a selection of poetry from Negro League Baseball by Harmony Holiday, taut lyrics by Karen Volkman, and remarkable elegiac poems by Rebecca Lindenberg from her recent collection, Love, an Index. Finally, we invite you to get interstellar with poems from Tracy K. Smith's Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Life on Mars. Enjoy!
