New to the Archive
This week we're offering some choice gems newly added to our online archive. In the news, we've been hearing a good deal about a renaissance of sorts in Canadian poetry. Sure, we're excited about the new stuff—but we're also adding work by Canadian poets who have been at it for decades. Case in point, this grouping of poems by Steve McCaffery from Seven Pages Missing.
Over the summer there was a lot of excitement surrounding the publication of Lew Welch's Ring of Bone. Now, we've added a handful of poems by this Beat master, including his remarkable poem, "Wobbly Rock," and his "ring of bone" poem.
Sometimes we're ahead of the curve. Case in point: poems from Catherine Wagner's latest, Nervous Device, from the City Lights Spotlight Series. Also, we have a handful of new ones from Brenda Shaughnessy's Our Andromeda.
And finally, we added a few clips from E. Tracy Grinnell's Some Clear Souvenir.
