New to the Archive

If you haven't cracked into the online archive in a few weeks to see what's new, you're in for a real treat now. In addition to all the poems from the October issue of Poetry, marking 100 years of continuous publication, we've added poems by a number of contemporary poets.

To start with, Brandon Brown debuts in the archive with a sampling of radical translations of poems by Aeschylus and Catullus. These aren't your grandpa's translations, so be careful.

For those who want their poem to be as dark as noir, we've deposited three poems from Karyna McGlynn's I Have to Go Back to 1994 and Kill a Girl.

Karen Volkman debuted in the archive this past spring, and we liked her poems so much that we decided to add a few more, including a selection from her most recent book, Emblem.

And finally, we know that you've been hitting the refresh button at Garrett Caples's poet page waiting for poems to materialize. Give your click-finger a rest and read here.
