Shortlist for 2020 National Translation Awards in Poetry Announced
Alejandra Pizarnik's The Last Innocence/The Lost Adventures (translated by Cecilia Rossi) and Reina María Rodríguez's The Winter Garden Photograph (translated by Kristin Dykstra and Nancy Gates Madsen) are among the poetry titles shortlisted for the 2020 National Translation Awards in Poetry and Prose. The awards of $2,500 are administered by ALTA, and are the only national awards "for translated fiction, poetry, and literary nonfiction that [include] a rigorous examination of both the source text and its relation to the finished English work."
