Self-Published Feminist Poet Rupi Kaur Lands Two-Book Deal

Rupi Kaur, whose success we previously covered on Harriet, here, recently signed a two-book deal with Andrew McNeel Publishing in the U.S. and Simon & Schuster in the U.K., Canada, India, and Australia. The author of milk and honey's next collection will appear in Fall 2017. Via Galley Cat:

Rupi Kaur, the feminist poet behind the bestseller milk and honey, has signed a two book deal. Her next book of poetry, which does not yet have a title, is scheduled to come out in Fall 2017.

Andrew McNeel Publishing will release the United States edition. Simon & Schuster will publish the book in the United Kingdom, Canada, India, and Australia.

Kirsty Melville, the publisher and president of Andrew McNeel Publishing, gave this statement in the press release: “We could not be more thrilled to continue our relationship with Rupi and to bring her transformative poetry and prose to the world via two new publications.
