Originally Published: June 06, 2018

Boston Review editors Deborah Chasman and Joshua Cohen released a statement yesterday regarding their decision to continue working with Junot Díaz in his capacity as BR fiction editor, to much dismay on social media. Diaz, who has been disgraced on the public stage due to multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and bullying, has retained his position; however, in response, the three poetry editors of the magazine have now stepped down. Timothy Donnelly, B.K. Fischer, and Stefania Heim released their own statement in disagreement with BR editors late last night.
