Carolina Ebeid
http://carolinaebeid.com/Carolina Ebeid was born to Palestinian and Cuban parents and grew up in West New York, New Jersey. She earned an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of the poetry collection You Ask Me To Talk About the Interior (Noemi Press, 2016), and her poems have appeared widely in journals such as AGNI, Gulf Coast, jubilat, the Kenyon Review, and Poetry magazine.
Ebeid's honors include fellowships from the Lannan Foundation, CantoMundo, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, the Stadler Center for Poetry at Bucknell University, and the McNair Scholars Program. She lives in Colorado, where she is pursuing a PhD in creative writing at the University of Denver and teaching at Lighthouse Writers Workshop. She edits the online journal Visible Binary with her husband, the poet Jeffrey Pethybridge, and serves as poetry editor at The Rumpus.
