Jennifer L. Knox is the author of Crushing It (Copper Canyon, forthcoming 2020),  as well as the collections Days of Shame and Failure (2015), The Mystery of the Hidden Driveway (2010), Drunk by Noon (2007), and A Gringo Like Me (2007), all published by Bloof Books. Her poems have appeared four times in the Best American Poetry series, as well as the anthologies Great American Prose Poems, From Poe to Present and Best American Erotic Poems. Her work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, the New Yorker, American Poetry Review, McSweeney's, and Bomb. 

Knox was born in Lancaster, California and earned her BA from the University of Iowa and her MFA in poetry writing from NYU. She has taught poetry writing at Hunter College and NYU and has guest lectured in universities and colleges across the country. She currently teaches at Iowa State University and is the proprietor of a small herb and spice company called Saltlickers.
