Pain Too

I dream

of pain too

not the always ache

of emptiness

but full pain new pain

that will go away

pain holding tight

my hands

and

pain to wet my face

gasping

against the loss

of happiness

I dream

the birth of pain

fathered by happiness

I dream

yes

I dream

of happiness

and

I dream

of pain too
