Twentieth Amanita Ode

In a wind
the lake's scissoring surface

and the Sun's vernal glare
the gulls cut to curls
in their turns.

: :

The lake's lurid blue
irises like crepe paper fringe.

: :

Dragonflies in dozens of squadrons over grasses
stained in June sun
strobing

through teleportation
the headwinds are chasing.
