Lamantia Presented at Counterpath

The always captivating Andrew Joron and Garrett Caples presented the eternally captivating poetry of Philip Lamantia this past week at Counterpath in Denver, CO. And we're thrilled that someone had the forethought to film the presentation, which includes recordings of Lamantia reading his work, introductions and context provided by Joron and Caples, and a reading from Lamantia's Collected Poems by our intrepid hosts. To get an overview of Lamatia's poetry, from his early surrealist lyrics to his last poems, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to begin. Enjoy!
