Colorado's Mountain Fold Books Commences Its First Membership Campaign
Remember when we told you about Mountain Fold Books, which squashed the local competition for their new space in Colorado Springs not so long ago? Now it's time to join in the fun of "provid[ing] access to contemporary small press print and journal publications in poetry, fiction, and visual arts through the independent reading room, bookstore, and cafe," which is starting a membership drive! They are hoping to enrich the Pikes Peak, CO, area by reaching 1,0000 members at $10 or more by September 5, 2014. From the mouths of directors:
The Mountain Fold Books membership campaign begins today! You'll feel great becoming a member, you'll help make small press books and magazines available in the deeply underserved community of Colorado Springs, and you'll get to choose from the amazing premiums, including the "THOU ART HOT" Shakespeare gray-out (inspired by Jen Bervin) t-shirt by 13 y.o. Bennett Spengler. Your donation is completely tax deductible as we are a fiscal sponsor of the 501c3 Pikes Peak Community Foundation.
Become a member here! We bet Barry Schwabsky is into it.
