Yes, yes: The Academy of American Poets revealed the 2015 National Poetry Month poster!

As always, The Academy collaborated with Chipp Kidd in its search to find one talented artist to design an eye-catching, celebratory poster to promote National Poetry Month festivities. The 2015 poster is by Roz Chast: Chast was a 2014 National Book Award Finalist for her collection of cartoons, Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant? Her poster design features text written by Mark Strand. Strand passed away last year; he served as U.S. Poet Laureate in 1990 and as Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.

Chast's poster design incorporates the first three lines from Strand's poem, "Eating Poetry:" "Ink runs from the corner of my mouth. There is no happiness like mine. I have been eating poetry." (Check out "Eating Poetry" in its entirety, here.) Learn more at Galley Cat.
