The lists are coming...Manohla Dargis even quoted Umberto Eco, noting that "[w]e like lists because we don’t want to die.” Can't argue with that! Here are the best Best Poetry 2015 lists of the week:

1. Entropy's Best of 2015: Best Poetry Books & Collections includes Benediction by Alice Notley, The Collected Poems of Chika Sagawa, Translated by Sawako Nakayasu, Ban en Banlieue by Bhanu Kapil, and 47 more.

2. LitHub's 30 MUST-READ POETRY DEBUTS FROM 2015 asked 30 poets to talk about their debuts. Some insight here you wouldn't find otherwise. Margaret Ross, Eric Amling, Emily Hunt, Nikki Wallschlaeger, Amish Trivedi, Jamie Townsend, and many others write about their work here. Tonya Foster moves from Max Ernst to Harlem to Bernadette Mayer. And Lisa Ciccarello makes a wise point: "I choose the direction, I seek out the influences, I make the connections, I am drawn towards or away from things, I experience the fear or desire I hope to provide, I set the images against one another. But I am not distinctly present."

3. SPD’S TOP 12 BOOKS OF 2099: They're getting into the egg nog over there. This list features Practical Strategies for Resisting the Black Hole Industrial Complex, KLONE: A New Spelling of my Name, A Biopoliticalmythobiography, and more books from the future with long, scary titles.
