Announcing the 2018 Best Translated Book Award Longlists!
Yesterday, the 2018 Best Translated Book Award Longlist was announced; it includes some truly astonishing poetry and quite a bit of attention for small presses! Susan Bernofsky, true dispatcher, shared the list: "The BTBA has been around since 2007 now," she writes, "run out of the University of Rochester by Three Percent. Each prize comes with $5000 awards for both translator and author/poet." With no further ado:
