Guggenheim Fellowships for 2019 have been awarded to 168 scholars, artists, and writers. "Appointed on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise, the successful candidates were chosen from a group of almost 3,000 applicants in the Foundation’s ninety-fifth competition." Fellows include poets Carmen Giménez Smith, Robin Coste Lewis, Cyrus Cassells, Thomas Centolella, Camille T. Dungy, Joanna Klink, Shane McCrae, Dean Rader, Lloyd Schwartz, and more!
