Letter from Poetry Magazine
Letter to the Editor
BY Dian Duchin Reed
Dear Editor,
I don’t know when I’ve enjoyed a Poetry feature more than “Enthusiasms” [February 2013]. Even the poets I had known of now appear three-dimensional, where before they had seemed as flat as the paper their poems were printed on. I loved the choice of poets (including the spirit of Mad Tom!), the “enthusiasm” and astute flair of the contributors, and Daisy Fried’s advice: “you can’t only stick to greats — it’s not good for the health.”
