Meanwhile the Mind, from Pleasure Less

If  you can think of a physical surface then you already know what it would feel like to lick it

A poet told me this

Poets love science and to be amazed

I have never licked a porpoise and yet

Amazing I said to the poet

We were indoors in a room

In my mind a problem developed

What does one say to a porpoise

The porpoise suggested there is no need to speak

The porpoise suggested it already knows
