Breathing into the memories/Joy/privilege of having been at the first, and almost all of the Fire & Ink gatherings. Breathing into Knowing the sacrifices, prayers, and groundbreaking work that our LGBTQIA Ancestors of African Descent, the Fire & Ink organizers, and our communities did to manifest these gatherings. I pulled from my “dat Black Mermaid Man Lady/dem Blessings” deck with the question in Heart, “What Blessing is Infinite Love Offering us right Now?”

Remember

you are not poor.
Your wealth is Infinite.
It is ever present.
It cycles and circles and ebbs and flows
and shows itself in traditions
in food
in music
in health
in relationships
in creativity
in passion
in curiosity
in laughter
in your finances
in the children
in animals
in learnings
in Spirit
in Nature

in the prayers paving the road you walk.
Relish the  Journey
