Marcie R. Rendon

She is the author of the novel Murder on the Red River (2017) and the children’s books Powwow Summer (1996) and Farmer’s Market: Families Working Together (2001). Her poetry has appeared in the St. Paul Almanac’s Impressions project. Rendon is the producer and creative director of Raving Native Theater, a grassroots theater company that has performed at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and community-based venues. In 2016, Rendon received the Loft’s Spoken Word Immersion Fellowship.
