Contribute to Artist Residencies by Throwing Millay Some Match $$$

Originally Published: October 21, 2013

One of our favorite residency programs, The Millay Colony for the Arts (listed recently as one of the top-ten artist residencies by Blouin Art Info!) has launched a crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo to celebrate their Ruby Anniversary (40 years!) and help bring four artists--who might otherwise not be able to attend--to Millay. Only eight days left! And it's going well, much thanks it seems to an anonymous donor who's fond of matching. This just in from board member Katy Lederer: "Our anonymous patron was so pleased with the response to his match two weeks ago, that he is again offering to match any donations made over the next seven days up to one thousand dollars. We would really love to secure every last penny from this match, and, ultimately, reach our $20,000 goal."

Offer your support to Millay here, and don't miss the 40th anniversary party at Roulette in Brooklyn (open bar, palm readings, tarot, fortune-telling, how could we), next Monday, Oct. 28.
