Jeff Gordinier

Jeff Gordinier is the author of X Saves the World (2009) and Hungry: Eating, Road-Tripping, and Risking It All with the Greatest Chef in the World (2019).  He is a coeditor of Here She Comes Now: Women in Music Who Have Changed Our Lives (2015). The food and drinks editor at Esquire, his writing has appeared in a variety of magazines and newspapers, including Details, Esquire, GQ, Elle, Spin, Creative Nonfiction, the LA Times, and the New York Times, where he is a frequent contributor and former staff writer. His work has been included in anthologies such as Best American Nonrequired Reading, Best Food Writing, and Best Creative Nonfiction. He lives close to the Hudson River with his wife and four children.
