Naomi Beckwith

Naomi Beckwith grew up in Hyde Park, Chicago. She earned a BA in history from Northwestern University and an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, where she completed a thesis on artists Adrian Piper and Carrie Mae Weems. Beckwith was a Critical Studies Fellow at the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program. She has curated several exhibitions in the United States and internationally. Currently, she is the Marilyn and Larry Fields Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
